UPERFECT BE156EF Wireless Portable Monitor Review by TORR3NT's Tech
What's up, guys? Miguel here from Torn's Tech. Today, we are reviewing the UPERFECT portable monitor. UPERFECT reached out to me and was like, "Hey, do you want to review this?" I said, "Yes." This is my current one, and this one offers an upgrade to this one, so I was like, "Let's do it."
So, we're going to switch to the top-down view. We're going to take a look at what this monitor is, what comes in the box, and all the bells and whistles that come along with it. I hope you stay tuned, so let's get into it. Let's switch to the top-down view.
Unboxing: What’s Included

Then we have a whole bunch of stuff here that uh yeah, let's open this up. Got a nice case in here. A nice touch. All right.

Ooh, it comes with a foldable keyboard. Nice. Oh, this is pretty cool.

Okay, it comes with a plug.

All right, we have We have HDMI regular to smaller HDMI.

We have mounting screws.

USB to USB-C, another USB-C. Three cables, a keyboard.
Design, Build Quality, and Built-In Stand

Uh so, let's get into it. Now, first thing what makes this monitor different from everything else is that you don't have to plug anything into it.
It has the built-in battery, it does wireless screen mirroring, and most portable monitors you actually kind of need the cable for power and for video. This one you could just turn it on, do some miracasting to it, and you're connected. So, that has to be the main selling point for this portable monitor.

So, we could talk about how it feels. Um it's really thin, it's really lightweight, but it it is it does feel delicate. Not really flimsy, just delicate.

Now, the thing I do like is that it does have the built-in stand right here. I mean, it is thin, as you could tell. It also feels a little bit on the delicate side, but it is strong enough and sturdy enough to hold this in multiple different positions without you having to worry. It just It holds the weight of the monitor.
You can also hold it like this. Now, one of my complaints is that when the stand is folded down here, the power button, the volume, the headset jack, the USB ports on both sides, all hidden.
So every time you want to plug something in or press the power button, you're going to have to open up the stand. Not really a deal-breaker, but it kind of sucks that you have to always open it.

And really quick, I actually did drop this monitor from this table onto the floor, which is probably about 3 ft, and it survived. It did no cracks, didn't break, so I guess it is more sturdier than it feels because that was a pretty solid drop, and I'm pretty sure that I thought I broke it.
Display Settings, Ports, and Carrying Case

Now, it also has a gravity sensor, so when you rotate it, it knows which way to turn. Pretty cool, I guess, you know. Huh? Huh? Huh? Yeah, pretty cool.

Now, for the menu options, you get brightness, contrast, eco mode, DCR, sharpness, HDR, color temperatures, and aspect ratio.
And it shows you the battery percentage right there over here like on the top, which is kind of nice. For inputs, you got USB ports, HDMI, and the Miracast for wireless.
Wireless Screen Mirroring: Using It with My iPhone

Now, with this, I take the monitor out, mirror my iPhone to it, open up the back camera, and now I can see exactly what I'm filming, no wires.
And that whole setup takes less than 20 seconds. And for me, that's a huge win.

And obviously, it works with your MacBook and Windows if it supports that. And when you turn it on, it gives you instructions right here on the screen. Uh I kind of wish you could disable that, but I haven't figured out a way to do that. However, it does Windows, Android, Mac, and iPhone.
Now, it always says turn on Wi-Fi, and I'm still not totally sure what that is for since I don't think this monitor has Wi-Fi in it. My guess is that they're telling you to turn on Wi-Fi on your own device.

Now, as far as picture quality, it's exactly what you would expect for the price. It is 1080p. It looks good, but it's not going to blow your socks off.
Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard and Touchpad: Hands-On Impressions

Now, it also comes with this foldable keyboard and touchpad. It's got its own rechargeable battery. It charges over USB-C. Plus, it has like a little status light. It's Bluetooth, so there is no dongle.

Pairing wasn't exactly straightforward. I did have to read the instructions, but after I read the instructions, you really just press function and pairing, and you put it into pairing mode.
So, it's nothing crazy. It appears as Bluetooth 5.1, and once it's paired, it's a keyboard.

This is going to be perfect for my Android boxes when I'm doing review and I need to type stuff up instead of using the controller or to keep next to your couch to type stuff onto your onto your screen. So, this is perfect for Android boxes.
I actually really like it. Now, typing on it is exactly what you would expect. I I it's responsive. The keys are weird, it's squishy, it feels plasticky and fragile. It doesn't tell you how much battery life is left on it, but it does fold pretty decently. And it's not too bad for travel, I guess. Pretty decent.
Final Thoughts: Is It a Useful Upgrade for My Setup?
And of course, UPERFECT sent this to me free of charge, and that is down there an affiliate link, so if you do use it, I do get a commission off of that. But again, you don't have to use it, so now, they also didn't pay for my review. This is an honest review and my thoughts on it. I accepted this monitor because I did want to upgrade my other monitor that I had.
I do a lot of these teardown videos or these videos for Android devices, and I like to plug in the Android devices the monitor, and having this keyboard would just be a perfect upgrade to what I use it for. So, I did expect accept this as a trade to make a video for UPERFECT. But, if this video helped you out, hit my buttons down below.
Personally, for what I'm going to use it for, I think it's going to be perfect. A wireless keyboard, wireless monitor, quick for other videos to use. So, this is a great upgrade for me. Anyway, guys, this is Miguel from Torrance Tech. I will catch you on the next one. Thank you for watching, and take care, guys.
